1805 1C --Tooled, Cleaned--ICG. XF45 Details. S-268, B-2, R.3. This Sheldon/Breen variety shows a blunt 1 in the date; and a leaf point from the left side of the wreath that extends beyond the E in STATES. Faint tooling marks appear in the lower right obverse field, beneath Liberty's chin. The surfaces are faintly granular from cleaning.
