Description
Republic Lovett 1 Centavo 1880, KM40, XF40 BN NGC, obviously struck using dies from the previous two years, with a huge 8 in the third position. By default, this was the final year in which it was possible to use this obviously abused obverse die. Interestingly, the reverse die on this example is well detailed, whereas, most of this third year are essentially obliterated. Possibly the finest available.
