Worthy Near-Gem 1907-S Twenty

1907-S $20 MS64 NGC. A charming canary-gold Choice Liberty twenty. The reverse is beautifully preserved, and the obverse has only faint marks. Philadelphia struck a considerable number of twenty dollar varieties in 1907, especially when edge lettering variation is considered, but San Francisco only emitted the old Liberty reeded edge design. Just 11 pieces are certified finer by NGC (10/08).(Registry values: N2998)
