Description
1873 1C Open 3 MS65 Red and Brown NGC. Delightful orange-red recesses contrast against medium brown devices. Both sides are essentially unmarked, but there is a peppering of minuscule flecks around the perimeter. A faint fingerprint in the field above Liberty's head is noted. NGC has certified just two Red and Brown examples finer (7/08). Certified in an old holder. (Registry values: P5)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 272X, PCGS# 2107, Greysheet# 1327)
