Attractive 1858/7 Cent, AU58, Snow-1
1858/7 1C AU58 NGC. VP-001. FS-006, Snow-1. Large Letters, High Leaves, Closed E. The "flag" or upper right corner of a 7 can be seen above the second 8, and there is a raised dot in the field above the first 8 which is unique to the genuine overdate, and is used as a diagnostic (Cherrypickers' Guide, Third Edition). This AU58 specimen displays golden-tan surfaces with blushes of violet. Nicely struck and minimally abraded.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2276, PCGS# 2022, Greysheet# 15322)
