1854 G$1 Type Two MS62 NGC. The yellow-gold surfaces of this well-defined representative have glints of orange in the fields. The coin has a clean appearance overall, though wispy marks appear on both sides. After a seemingly successful tryout of the Type Two design at Philadelphia in 1854, dies for the new layout were shipped to various branch mints for 1855.(Registry values: N4719)
