CILICIA. Tarsus. Mazaeus, as Satrap (361-334 BC). AR stater (23mm, 10.96 gm, 6h). NGC MS 5/5 - 4/5. Ba'altars seated left, holding eagle, grain ear, grapes and scepter; TR in Aramaic to lower left, B'LTRZ in Aramaic to right, Aramaic M below throne / Lion attacking bull left; MZDI in Aramaic above, monogram below. Casabonne Series 2, Group C. SNG Levante 106. A superb specimen, with a fully struck face of the  Ba'al of Tarsus (Ba'altars).
