Description
1744-BB SOU M French Colonies Sou Marque MS65 PCGS. Breen-616, Vlack-257, R.2. Incorrectly designated as 1744-A by PCGS. Possibly a 1744/3-BB, prospective bidders should examine the lot in person and draw their own conclusions. An attractive Gem example of this French Colonies issue. The luster is primarily satiny silver-white, though splashes of peach are also visible. A number of parallel planchet lines pass over the L on the reverse.
