Rare "Virtue of Humanity" 9 Tien

Tu Duc silver "Virtue of Humanity" 9 Tien ND (1848-1883) MS62 PCGS, KM475, Schr-385, S&H-4.22.2. 34.07gm. Among the great rarities of the entire Annamese series, these Virtue types are always highly contested, especially when located in a larger denomination and with as much aesthetic character. It's quite evident the amount of care and attention to detail that went into this piece's production and subsequent preservation, with every raised device struck as intended, providing the viewer practically as-struck appearances. A generous argent tone tinged with amber silhouettes elevates this near-Choice survivor, further enlivened by die polish that glistens when illuminated. Only a single other example of this scarce 9 Tien has come to market in the last decade, in the same conditional assignment, yet struck with slightly cruder dies. As such, we anticipate strong participation from advanced collectors hoping to acquire one of the most elusive examples from Annam.

1848-1883年嗣德通寶九錢曰仁銀幣。MS62 PCGS。
34.07克。在云云眾多安南錢幣中，這批刻有各項德性的嗣德通寶向來極受青睞，每每都迎得一輪熾熱投標。當中面額愈高者愈受青睞，外觀更是愈發別出心裁。此幣於鑄造時顯然煞費苦心，隨後的保存狀態亦無與倫比，圖文立體銳利猶如初鑄。銀亮明淨的包漿與呈琥珀色的線條輪廓則為這枚近精選品相的例子畫龍點睛，而閃爍生輝的模具拋光痕跡更是令此幣更上一層樓。在過往十年間，另僅有一枚九錢曾於市場上亮相，雖然評分相同，但相比之下模具稍顯粗糙。故此，敝司預期將能吸引到一眾意欲入手頂尖安南錢幣的收藏家熱烈投標。
