1652 Pine Tree Shilling, XF40
Noe-1, Large Planchet, Pellets
1652 Pine Tree Shilling, Large Planchet, Pellets at Trunk,
Noe-1, W-690, Salmon 1-A, R.2, XF40 PCGS. 70.22 grains. The
crudely shaped 5 in the date is a pick-up point for Noe-1. This
slightly oval steel-gray and wheat-gold representative displays
full legends on the date side. The obverse appears misaligned
several degrees toward 6 o'clock, favoring THVSETS. Portions of IN
MAS are off the flan. An early die state with only a hint of
crumbling at the date. Listed on page 36 of the 2025 Guide
