João Prince Regent Counterstamped 320 Reis ND (1809) Fine Details (Cleaned) NGC, Bahia mint, KM297, LMB-218. Displaying shield counterstamp (AU Standard) on the obverse and reverse of a Jose I 300 Reis 1753-B (cf. KM178). An already well-worn survivor at the moment of embossment and struck on a host that typically saw significant use in circulation.From the Vila Rica Collection
