Description

1857 Flying Eagle Cent, MS64
Upper-End for the Grade

1857 1C MS64 PCGS. CAC. CAC endorsement is well deserved on this piece, which shows blatantly original, glistening mint luster and pleasing tan-gold color. A sharp strike adds to the eye appeal. Both sides have a few faint flecks, and there are some trivial grazes in the lower obverse field, but these merely serve to prevent Gem classification, hindering nothing when it comes to the MS64 grade. Some minor rim crumbling along the left obverse border and a die crack on the reverse at 10 o'clock to the wreath, are noted. Housed in a Generation 3.0 old green label holder.(Registry values: N1793)
