Pedro II 1200 Reis 1843 UNC Details (Harshly Cleaned) NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM454, LMB-557. Mintage: 1,803. Variety with belt around globe consisting of 2 lines. One of the nicest representatives of the date yet seen by NGC, with no straight-graded examples yet achieving Mint State status. Though quite clearly cleaned, the elements of the design remain deeply impressed, with next to no evidence of striking weakness.From the Vila Rica Collection
