1895 Liberty Nickel, PR66+
Registry Grade Deep Cameo Example
1895 5C PR66+ Deep Cameo PCGS. CAC. The 1895 proof Liberty
nickel claims a mintage of 2062 pieces and the coins were issued
with the proof sets (either minor, silver and minor, or complete
sets). Although the issue was generally well-produced, few examples
have survived with Deep Cameo surfaces. This Plus-graded Premium
Gem exhibits razor-sharp definition on all design elements. The
deeply mirrored fields contrast profoundly with the richly frosted
devices to create an intense cameo effect. Both sides show
highlights of emerald-green and pale jade toning. The outstanding
quality and eye appeal are attested by the CAC sticker. Population:
2 in 66 (1 in 66+) Deep Cameo, 0 finer. CAC: 2 in 66, 0 finer
