Description

George V gold Sovereign 1931-M MS62 PCGS, Melbourne mint, KM32, S-4000. The last date for Melbourne mint and rated R2 (very rare) in the Marsh book. A handsome near-Choice offering, emerging from a relatively small original mintage of only 57,809 pieces. Showcasing satiny surfaces largely without blemish, and bold luster sweeping throughout that looks great when viewed in hand. Privately purchased from Jaggard's in Sydney, Australia; accompanied by their flip.
