(1785) COPPER Bar Copper -- Rim Damage -- PCGS Genuine. VF
Details. Breen-1145, W-8520, R.4. On this original Bar copper,
the curve of the S in the USA monogram passes under the left leg of
the A, and a small tine extends upward from the left end of the
12th bar on the reverse. This example is evenly struck, with mildly
granular auburn-brown surfaces. A few small rim dings around the
reverse preclude a numeric grade, but hardly capture the eye's
attention. Listed on page 74 of the 2016 Guide Book.
