1877 Cent, MS61 Brown
Pleasing Key Date
1877 1C MS61 Brown NGC. The 1877 cent is well-known to
virtually all collectors of American coinage, as it is the key to
the Indian Head series with a low mintage of 852,500 coins.
Pleasing chocolate-brown surfaces are accented by shades of olive
and gunmetal-blue, while the reverse is noticeably lighter in hue.
The devices are well-impressed with a hint of merging on the
