1811 1/2 C Wide Date, C-1, B-1, Low R.4, VG10 PCGS. Manley Die State 5.0, the popular four-star break. A rim break joins stars 1 through 4 at the lower left obverse on this important late die state example. Myriad surface marks and microscopic roughness are evident on both sides of this example that exhibits pleasing olive-brown patina. Our EAC grade VG10.From The Mark Hays Collection of Half Cents.
