Final Year of the Design
1909-S 1C MS65 Red NGC. The 1909-S Indian cent claims a low
mintage of 309,000 pieces, struck during the last year of the
design. This delightful Gem exhibits well-preserved original red
surfaces with a few highlights of magenta and strong, but subtle,
mint luster on both sides. The design elements are well-detailed
and eye appeal is quite strong. NGC has graded seven numerically
