1876-S T$1 Type One Obverse, Type Two Reverse, MS65+ NGC.
Minute S mintmark. Although readily available in lesser grades from
a mintage exceeding 5.2 million pieces, the 1876-S Trade dollar is
rare in Gem Uncirculated condition or finer -- as characteristic of
all Trade dollars regardless of date or mint. This needle-sharp
example displays satin-smooth, highly lustrous silver surfaces
warmed by a trace of pale-gold patina. NGC Census: 1 in 65+, 4
finer (8/25).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 40115, Base PCGS# 7043)

Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
