Registry Set Contender
1950-D/S 25C MS66 PCGS. CAC. The upper serif of the errant S
is visible at the top of the primary D mintmark. The D is strike
doubled, as usual. This Premium Gem 1950-D/S quarter displays a
bold strike and exceptional preservation. Both sides display a hint
of cream-gold color that is accented by peppered russet overtones
near the borders. Population: 18 in 66 (2 in 66+), 3 finer. CAC: 10
in 66, 1 finer (10/21).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2016), lot 4486.
