Brunswick-Lüneburg-Calenberg-Hannover. Georg II Taler 1752-IBH MS62 NGC, KM295, Dav-2101, Welter-2567. Highly coveted by collectors due to its charming design that illustrates a rainbow arching high above a mine and city scene. The arms and titles of George II, King of England, who inherited the Electorate of Hanover title from his father George I reside on the other side. Elite quality for the issue, with surfaces that display sharp definition, without evidence of wear, and are blanketed in rich gray-tan tone that contains areas of delicate multicolored iridescence near the rims. As one of the two finest graded examples of this type seen by NGC, sure to see even further elevated bidder participation.From the Jamestown Collection
