Description

Brunswick-Lüneburg-Celle. August I Taler 1636-HS MS61 PCGS, Zellerfeld mint, KM132, Dav-5736A. A rather scarce piece, this exceptional 'wildman' taler features a good deal of radiant luster, especially around the ornate shield. A hint of toning is scattered throughout, and creates further charm to its presence. A light flan crack is noted near the waist of the wildman, but is not overly distracting.

Metal: Silver
