1849 1/2 C Large Date, C-1, B-4, R.2, AU58 PCGS. Manley Die State 1.0, or early Die State 2.0. A pleasing golden-brown half cent representing the first circulation-strike issue of the Braided Hair design for this denomination. This piece has scattered marks and small patches of verdigris on the reverse. Our EAC grade AU50.From The Mark Hays Collection of Half Cents.
