Description

1895 Nickel, Pastel-Toned MS66
Just One Finer Coin at PCGS

1895 5C MS66 PCGS. Vivid pastel patina on each side includes a palette of lilac, gold, jade, and pale blue, intermingled with a few dark flecks that appear only under a loupe. A shallow vertical mark is noted on the cheek. The strike is sharp, save for the lower-left ear of corn, and the eye appeal is top-drawer. Population: 41 in 66 (6 in 66+), 1 finer (6/20).
