Description

1917-S 1C MS64 Red PCGS. Satiny copper-orange luster gives this Choice 1917-S cent its Red appearance, while scattered specks and a few small marks preclude a Gem designation. Nonetheless, the 1917-S is a scarce issue in full Red condition, and the present coin will appeal to a range of collectors who find a rare finer coin to be out of reach. Population: 65 in 64 (1 in 64+) Red, 19 finer (5/16).
