Description

Pedro I gold 6400 Reis 1827-R XF Details (Smoothed) PCGS, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM370.1, LMB-601. A very scarce gold type produced in an original mintage numbering only 637 examples. Though certainly smoothed or similarly treated, we note a sharp degree of definition to the devices, with significant detail remaining even post-circulation, resulting in a generally better appearance than what is often encountered in an XF base grade. A fleeting opportunity to acquire an example of this elusive, limited-mintage issue.
