Description
1857 1C Large Date, N-1, R.1, MS65 Brown PCGS. CAC. Grellman Die State b. Newcomb-1 is the sole Large Date die variety from the final year of commercial large cents. Glimpses of fire-red outline design elements, while the open fields and high points are ice-blue and mahogany-brown. The strike shows minor inexactness on the shoulder curl and the top of the wreath, but the surfaces are splendidly smooth and devoid of carbon. Our EAC grade MS63.From The Watermark Collection.
