Description

Prussia. Friedrich Wilhelm II gold Frederick d'Or 1796-A MS63 NGC, Berlin mint, KM349. A wholly natural example of this type that is often found well-worn, the fields are highly reflective to the point of giving it a prooflike appearance. As best we can tell, only one other Mint State certified examples has appeared on the market in at least the past decade, and that was an MS64 that sold in Switzerland in 2015 for a little under $6,000.
