Description
1955 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, AU58 NGC. A charming golden-brown cent with smooth, satiny surfaces. Slight rub on the cheekbone and forehead denies a Mint State assessment. Discovered shortly after issue, the 1955 doubled die cent promptly became requisite for completion of the Lincoln series.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22FG, Variety PCGS# 37910, Base PCGS# 2825, Greysheet# 310752)
