1860 1C Pointed Bust, FS-401, MS65 PCGS. CAC. Eagle Eye
Photo Seal, card included. A magnificent Gem of the elusive
transitional Pointed Bust variety. Well struck and lustrous with a
carbon-free appearance. The Pointed Bust was present on the
first-year 1859 issue, paired with a laurel wreath reverse, but was
replaced early in 1860 with the Rounded Bust design.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 227F, Variety PCGS# 37393, Base PCGS# 2056, Greysheet# 285505)
