Description

1913-D 1C MS65 Red PCGS. A satiny Gem from an early die state, showing no bothersome carbon spotting. The unabraded surfaces are uniformly copper-red, producing a luminous cartwheel effect in-hand. The 1913-D cent is elusive in this grade, and PCGS lists only 24 finer Red examples (5/18).
