Fuad I gold Service Medal AH 1347 (1928/9) MS62 PCGS, Barac-15. 30mm. 20.8gm. Edge: 30R flanked by cornucopias. By L. Rosen & Co, Cairo. A 1st class "Grace and Favour" medal issued for 35 years of service, featuring the military attired bust of Fuad I and crowned, mantled arms within an oak wreath. High relief illustrations are boldly-rendered with very minimal rub noted on the King's portrait and the surrounding expanses are richly colored in apricot hues. Also issued in silver and bronze, but extremely rare in gold format and by far the most desirable.Ex. Dr. Lawrence Adams Collection
