Description
George IV Lot of Three Certified Proof Coins 1821, KM676, 678, 679. All coins certified by NGC as follows: 1821 6 Pence PR65; 1821 Shilling PR64; 1821 1/2 Crown PR64. This stunning group features three matched specimens, all displaying surfaces that are canvassed in a vibrant mixture of fiery red, electric blue, and golden champagne. Starting with the 6 Pence which asserts the finest technical grade of the three, the reflective surfaces showcase an incredible amount of radiance in an intense, albeit random pattern. The obverse of the Shilling presents mostly blue centers that brighten towards the peripheries, with a somewhat opposite variation on the reverse. The largest denomination of the group, the 1/2 Crown, while similar in nature to its counterparts, exhibits mostly amber centers that deepen into radiant shades of blue toward the legends and a silvery, diagonal stripe across the reverse shield. An altogether phenomenal lot with outstanding visual allure and impressive grade classifications.More information about Great Britain Coins. See also: Great Britain World Coin Nationality.
