Description
1918/17-D Buffalo Nickel, VF25
Popular Midgrade Example
1918/7-D 5C VF25 PCGS. FS-101. The 1918/7-D Buffalo nickels
probably share status with the 1916 Doubled Die Obverse coins as
the rarest and most in-demand varieties of the series in high
grade. This VF25 piece is a nice collector-grade coin that should
prove popular for a complete set. Just moderate wear, consistent
with the grade, characterizes the surfaces, which are nickel-gray
with little trace of color and unencumbered by excessive marks or
any other impairment. The overdate feature is obvious at this grade
level.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 3939, Greysheet# 3115)
Weight: 5.00 grams
Metal: 75% Copper, 25% Nickel
