Description

1936 5C Type Two -- Brilliant Finish PR66 NGC. CAC. After a two-decade gap in production, proof Buffalo nickels were struck during 1936. They were first coined with a satin finish, but later strikes had the brilliant finish favored by modern collectors. This sharply struck and lightly toned specimen displays a minor retained lamination near the P in PLURIBUS. Encapsulated in a prior generation holder.
