Description

1890-CC Twenty Dollar, MS61
Remarkably Lustrous Surfaces

1890-CC $20 MS61 PCGS. Variety 1-A. The 1890-CC twenty is typically seen with thick mint luster and numerous abrasions from bag-to-bag transfer in Europe over the past 125 years. This piece shows pleasing reddish-gold patina and the mint luster is bright. Many 1890-CC double eagles are not fully struck, but this one displays bold definition over all the design elements on each side.(Registry values: N2998)
