1872 Three Cent Nickel, MS66+
One Coin Finer at PCGS
1872 3CN MS66+ PCGS. This three cent nickel stands out as
one of the finest survivors from a mintage of 861,000 coins. PCGS
and NGC each report a finer example, but this is the only Premium
Gem at the former service with a Plus designation. Both sides are
fully struck and nickel-gray with soft mint luster and thin golden
