Description
1907 No Motto Ten Dollar Indian, MS65
Short-Lived Type
1907 $10 No Motto MS65 NGC. CAC. An immensely appealing
representative of this short-lived type, well-detailed overall with
vibrant sun-gold surfaces and intense luster. Unlike lower-graded
examples of the same issue, this piece shows only a few tiny flaws
in the fields, and the devices are carefully preserved as well. As
with all Saint-Gaudens eagles, the 1907 No Periods is challenging
in Gem. An excellent candidate for the similarly graded type or
date set.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2007), lot 3693.(Registry values: N2998)
Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GF, PCGS# 8852, Greysheet# 9746)
Weight: 16.72 grams
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
