Description

1907-S Quarter, MS66
San Francisco Condition Rarity

1907-S 25C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Considerably fewer quarters were struck at the San Francisco Mint than at Philadelphia, Denver, or New Orleans in 1907, and all but a small fraction of the 1.3 million examples produced have been lost through attrition. Mottled blue and lavender shades intermingle over both sides with splashes of golden-tan hues and radiant, softly frosted luster throughout. Strongly struck with moderate incompleteness over the reverse shield and the lower portion of the eagle. Population: 8 in 66 (1 in 66+), 3 finer. CAC: 3 in 66, 2 finer (11/18).
