1866 3CS MS65 PCGS Secure. This Gem 1866 three cent silver is semiprooflike and sharply struck. Excessive die polishing is seen in the recesses of the reverse design, but the obverse is full. This issue is scarce in high grade, and Mint State coins are widely scattered across the MS63 to MS67 grades. This Gem is high-quality for the grade with excellent visual merit.
