Well-Struck Type Two Coin

1855 3CS MS65 NGC. CAC. The 5s in the date are clearly repunched, as seen on most examples of this better date. A pristine and lustrous Gem with iridescent apricot-gold and sky-gray toning. The strike is good though the peripheral stars are incomplete. Census: 10 in 65, 6 finer (7/13).
