Description
1912 Indian Eagle, MS66
Eye-Catching Mint Luster
A Major Condition Rarity
1912 $10 MS66 NGC. The generally plentiful 1912 Indian eagle
is conditionally scarce in MS65 and rare finer. This Premium Gem
delivers a blast of original, blazing mint luster through means of
a frosty cartwheel effect. The design elements are fully struck,
and the eye appeal is beyond what we normally expect from a
high-grade 1912. A few tiny ticks are isolated to Liberty's cheek
and prevent an even higher grade. The NGC Census for this
grade speaks for itself about the importance of this rare offering.
Census: 12 in 66 (1 in 66+ ★ ), 1 finer (10/17).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GW, PCGS# 8871, Greysheet# 9752)
Weight: 16.72 grams
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
