Description
1794 TOKEN Franklin Press Token, Plain Edge, MS64 Brown NGC. Breen-1165, W-8850, R.1. Benjamin Franklin, as a youth of 18, traveled to London and worked there as a printer. This popular Conder token variety depicts the famous Franklin Press. Early die states without breaks are available, but the present high-grade tan and olive-brown example is a late die state with prominent breaks on the press and the ERT in LIBERTAS.
