Kweichow. Republic "Auto" Dollar Year 17 (1928) VF Details (Environmental Damage) PCGS, Chengdu mint, KM-Y428, L&M-609, Kann-757e, WS-1109. Two blades of grass variety. A perennially popular Automobile Dollar of Kweichow origin, the current offering presents an opportune moment to attain one of these collectible and coveted pieces. Both facets project balanced wear that leaves a uniform expression of struck detail. The fields admit a deep tone and likely cause for PCGS's modifier, yet do little to detract from the overall appeal of this example.

Struck to commemorate the completion of Kweichow's first provincial highway and depicting Governor Zhou Xicheng's personal automobile, this design completely departs from numismatic tradition as an explicit visualization of the technological advancement of China, as promoted and outlined by Sun Yat-sen years prior.

民國十七年（1928）貴州省政府造壹圓銀幣「汽車幣」。VF Details (Environmental Damage) PCGS。
成都造幣廠。二葉草版。這款人氣歷久不衰的汽車幣出自貴州省，向來深受青睞，收藏價值非同凡響。是次入手機會實在相宜吸引。此幣正背面都帶有均勻的磨損痕跡，鑄打細節均稱協和。底板包漿濃厚深峻，應是PCGS留下批注之故，但絲毫不減其出類拔萃的整體外觀。

此幣是為紀念貴州省內首條高速公路落成而發行，刻有省長周西成的坐駕，設計風格與傳統錢幣大相徑庭，體現了當時中國的科技進步，與孫中山多年前的主張遙遙呼應。
