1858 Flying Eagle Cent, MS65
Large Letters Obverse
1858 1C Large Letters MS65 PCGS. High Leaves, Closed N in
ONE. The bottoms of AM are joined on the Large Letters variety, and
separated on the Small Letters variety. This Large Letters Gem is
an exceptional example with frosty golden-tan luster and sharp
details. A few dark specks prevent a higher grade. PCGS has only
certified 51 finer examples (7/19).Ex: Beverly Hills Signature (Heritage, 11/2011), lot 3040.
