High Grade Type Coin

1858 1C Large Letters MS66 PCGS. High Leaves Reverse. Closed E in ONE. The short-lived Flying Eagle type is available in typical Mint State, but Premium Gems are very scarce. This lustrous representative displays brick-red and honey-gold colors. A pinpoint fleck or two is on the eagle's back wing. The strike shows minor blending on the eagle's tail and opposite on the right cotton leaf. Population: 48 in 66 (7 in 66+), 3 finer (7/19).
