Description

1867 Half Dime, PR67
Beautiful Iridescent Toning

1867 H10C PR67 NGC. A Condition Census example of this elusive proof half dime issue, showing a full strike and reflective fields. Concentric sea-green, blue, and violet border toning surrounds amber-gold centers. The patina prevents a Cameo designation where there otherwise might be enough contrast to support one. The 1867 proof is rarely encountered this fine. Census: 7 in 67 (1 in 67 ), 2 finer (11/17).(Registry values: P2)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2364, PCGS# 4450, Greysheet# 3933)
