Description

1909-S VDB Cent, MS65 Red and Brown
Attractive Mint Luster

1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. An exceptionally Gem, showing luminous satin surfaces and nary a single mentionable abrasion. The obverse has well-balanced copper-orange and chestnut hues, while the reverse is deeper burgundy and rose in color. A few flecks are seen under a loupe but none are prominent. A pleasing example of this first-year key.
