Description

1909-S VDB Cent, MS65 Red
Remarkably Rich Orange-Gold Color

1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red PCGS. This is an attractive Lincoln cent, to put it lightly. Most 1909-S VDB coins have soft tan-gold coloration, but this piece is fire-orange and vibrantly lustrous. On top of a sharp strike, the surfaces are free of disruptive abrasions. The only "but" is a carbon spot near the obverse rim at 8 o'clock.(Registry values: N1793)
